Some models are reluctant to take all of their clothes off, but it’s all about context, if you tell them it’s for body painting then they may feel more comfortable about agreeing to it. McKenna Berkley agreed to be body painted for the Sports Illustrated Body Paint Issue and she even agreed to have herself videoed as she was being painted. Some people will see body painting as the Emporer’s New Clothes i.e. she thinks that she’s got clothes on but in reality she hasn’t. Is it just an excuse to get a beautiful model naked in an artistic context that she feels happy with or is it is really about the art, you can decide on that? Perhaps it can happen both ways, just depending on who came up with the idea and on if the model secretly wanted an excuse to get undressed in a non-slutty context so as it won’t in anyway damage her reputation.
